Prisoners Assistance Nepal (PA Nepal) is a grass roots organization that seeks to provide basic needs and human rights to prisoners and their children in Nepal. PA Nepal was established in 2000 by Indira Ranamagar. Indira herself started her prison work in 1990 alongside human rights activist Parijat. PA Nepal's primary mandate is to improve conditions within prisons and to care for children who has been rescued from prison. Since its foundation, PA Nepal has expanded and is now able to focus its efforts in a variety of different areas.

Clinic Nepal is a social organization founded in 1997which has been running the Friendship Clinic, child care centre, kindergartens, free mobile health camps, vocational training, school support programs, clean drinking water programs, sanitation, and income-generating programs as well as providing support for individual health treatments for the last Twenty-three years. The project covers at least 10 Wards (Bharatpur-28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 20, Devchuli-13, Madi-1, 2, 3) in Chitwan and Nawalparasi districts (Meghauli, Sukranagar, Dibyanagar, Jagatpur, Ayadhoyapuri, Gunjanagar, Gardi, Bagauda, Kalayanpur, and Pragatinagar).
The Bharatpur Metropolitan City Chitwan area is home to 261,638 people including indigenous people, ethnic communities, and other marginalized groups.
