Nepal Water for Health (NEWAH)

Nepal Water for Health (NEWAH) is a national level non-governmental organization (NGO) that specializes in WASH (drinking water, sanitation and hygiene promotion). Established in 1992, it has been working actively to provide basic water and sanitation related services to poor communities; and in strengthening the capacity of local communities in sustaining these services and further utilize their potential to undertake other development initiatives as per their need. NEWAH operates in rural area of Nepal through its two province offices located in Sindhuli, Bagmati Province and Baglung, Gandaki Province of the country with the support of over 100 professional staff. Yuwalaya-Working for adolescents, youths, and especially child club graduates aiming to inspire nepali adolescents and youths to become valued partners in development and promote their meaningful participation for development of Nepal.

Nagarik Aawaz is the organizer of the event. Many conflict-affected women from different districts will be participating in a virtual meeting.

Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Nepal is a nongovernmental Organization established in 2000, The organization has been working among the children & Sustainable disaster risk reduction in different parts of the country.

Chay-Ya Nepal since 2005 working closely with rural communities to identify their needs and develop viable economic, environmental and social solutions. The projects activities includes education for children, development of health systems, environmental protection, livelihood promotion and providing humanitarian aid.

Nagarik Aawaz Nawalpur branch is the organizer of the event. To mark International Peace Day and Social Service day we conducted an interaction session with the youths to aware their roles during the Pandemic COVID-19.
