VIN is a non-religious, non-political, not-for-profit, and non-governmental organization (NGO). Based on these four pillars, VIN has been empowering marginalised communities by implementing six major integrated & holistic programs - Women’s Empowerment, Children’s Development, Public Health and Medical Care, Youth Empowerment, Environment Conservation and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).
VIN has been mobilising national and international volunteers in development and humanitarian projects. Volunteers’ involvement is a key strategy of the organization in fulfilling big portion of skilled and unskilled human resource. The projects are highly inclusive in nature, beneficiaries from the target population are involved in the project implementation process regardless of class, caste, religion, background, gender and disability.
