We work to incorporate our methodologies into the mainstream curricula in Nepal through lobbying and advocacy work and key stakeholders. We imagine a future where education provides the necessary skills to prepare young people to lead more purposeful lives contributing to their individual well being and that of their wider community.

Himalayan Trust Nepal- registered as an independent local non-government organization in 2005 as per the law of the government of Nepal. Sir Edmund Hillary was the founder of the organization and since then it has been working in the areas of Health, Education, Environment, Culture, and livelihood to address the humanitarian need of the people in the Everest region. During the event, the team heading to the field will handover the Covid-19 preventive materials for students and teachers. The preventive materials include masks, thermal guns, hand wash soaps, sanitizer, and disinfectant liquids. The team will hand over the materials to the schools, and meet and discuss with the district level line agencies, local governments, and all schools. The team will also provide facilitation support to the schools to create a safer environment for the children and teachers. The team will observe and discuss with the headteachers and teachers and identify the need for further support.
